Photographer Essam Al-Sulaihi is a graduate of a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Yemen.
Exhibitions ,participation
- He worked as an underwater photographer to document marine life in the Red Sea and (the Indian Ocean for some of organizations)Public Authority for Environmental Protection – Socotra Conservation Project – Qamarin Diving Club 2005-2010.
- Participated in the first exhibition entitled Arabian Jewels in Budapest in the Republic of Hungary with photographers from Hungary 2005.
- Participated in the Qamarin Diving Club exhibition with several Yemeni artists in Sana’a to support the sport of diving in Yemen 2008.
- National Geographic Arabic magazine published many pictures of him about nature and anecdotal photos
- He has lectured in many countries and was hosted to present his works at the Royal Jordanian Society in Amman in 2015.
- Participate in the exhibition Let’s Learn Photography by the photographer Boulos Isaac in saqih alsaawi Cairo Egypt 2018.
- Participate in Phototopia Stories exhibition in downtown Cairo 2018.
- Participated in the exhibition of joy for Boulos Isaac , which was held in saqih alsaawi Egypt 2019.
teaching
- He started teaching photography in 2013 and has taught photography to more than 250 students of different age groups in different governorates in Yemen to spread the art of photography.
- Volunteer with St. Andrew’s united Church in Cairo to teach photography to 50 refugees from South Sudan and Syria.
- He started teaching photography online in 2020 and studied many young men and women from outside Egypt in cooperation with the Arab Art Forum.
