Abdul Jabbar Ahmed Abdul Wahab Numan
Born in Dhahban, Taiz, in 1949
Qualifications:
- He moved to Aden to complete his education and then began his professional life there as a teacher at “Bilqis College”, which was established in the early sixties of the last century.
- He joined the Italian Art Institute and obtained his BA with distinction in 1973
- During his visit to Sana’a, the leader Gamal Abdel Nasser was impressed by the artist Abdel Jabbar Noman, who granted him a mission to study fine arts in Egypt, and in 1965 he opened his first exhibition in Cairo under the auspices of Abdel Nasser.
Since the seventies of the last century, he has organized many exhibitions in Yemen, Russia, Bulgaria, Germany, Britain and most Arab countries.
His most prominent works:

- He died on the evening of Saturday, January 26, 2019, in a hospital in the capital, Sana’a, after a long struggle with illness.
