The calligrapher Ismail Muftah was born in 1983. He started his artistic career in drawing and calligraphy. He visited some of the drawing and calligraphy teachers and was tutored by them such as the calligrapher Abdul Raqib Salam. He teachs drawing and calligraphy in a number of schools and institutes in the capital, Sana’a.
