Aref graduated with a BA in Mathematics. He was taught by many masters of Arabic calligraphy from Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Turkey. In addition, he was a student with Professor Ibrahim Al-Arafi – a teacher of Arabic calligraphy in the Holy Mosque in Mecca.
Participate and Achievements:
- He won the first place in the Arabic calligraphy competition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Honored to teach Arabic calligraphy in the Holy Mosque in Mecca
- He held many Arabic calligraphy courses in several official bodies
- Participate in many activities, seminars and exhibitions
